Parks and Recreation Director Billy D. Ausitn, Councilman Ron Rhodes, Councilman Rick Pierce, and Councilman Darrel Bennett make up the four members overseeing Mountain Home's Parks. Each month Director Billy D. Austin updates the committee on various park activities, upcoming events, employee hours, and monthly revenue. The committee not only holds conversation over the Parks and best use of them, but also the the things on them such as the L.C. Sammons Youth Center, the City Pool, City ponds, Baseball Fields, and the Soccer Complex. Alderman Ron Rhodes chairs the committee.
